                   Established  in 1980, Jeevan Jyothi Convent School is a well known co-education secondary school situated in a small town, Semiliguda of koraput District, Odisha. It is a Christian Missionary School, run and managed by Diocese of Berhampur Rt. Rev. Dr. Sarat Chandra Nayak, and is affiliated to the Council for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), New Delhi with students appearing every year for ICSE exams conducted by the board.       

   

         We at Jeevan Jyothi Convent School are dedicated to contribute to the society by providing it with the right foundations for good citizens. Our school consists of a well established building situated in the cool climate of the district in a beautiful natural location. The school is fully equipped with good library and lab facilities both for science and computers, sufficient enough to meet the academic requirement of the students.      

              

            The goal of the school is to provide a strong foundation for a better future to each student who study here. Though the school is a Christian Missionary we have students of all religion Studying here which makes it a multi cultural learning environment to promote national integration. The aim of the institute is to make learning process enjoyable for a student.       

                

        The thirty teachers working for our institute are fully dedicated towards academic,  intellectual, physical and mental growth of our students. Teachers are always supportive to students in matter like course completion in time, doubt clearances, etc.       

     

           Sufficient sports equipment and an able sports  trainer guides the students for their physical growth which is equally important apart from academics for the overall growth of a child.     

      

       The strength of our school is more than 900 and it provides hostel accommodation for outstation students with a cordial living and learning environment. The transport section of the school consists of a fleet of 3 buses sufficient enough to meet the transportation requirement of its students from within 15km radius, that is from near by towns like damanjodi, Sunabeda etc.              

             Every year in the month of December the School organizes Annual festival with grand celebration in the presence of distinguished dignitaries to applause talented students.         

    

               The school has achieved unique distinction of being one of the best in the region which has been proved time and again by its students who have excelled  and come up with flying colors not only in their annual exams but also in several regional and state level sports and academic competition like Cricket, athletics, quiz, debate, exhibitions etc. We have many records by our Senior batches which are yet to be broken.

               Most of the X-students of the school are either excelling in their higher studies or are well settled in life. School is a perfect destination for the overall growth of a child to produce the strongest foundation for a responsible citizen of the nation.
